The Difficult Third:
So titled because it was the hardest album to come together so far in terms of finding a cohesive final package from the finished tracks. Jim experimented with various running orders before finally being happy with the one presented here (a few pieces whose aesthetics strayed too far were left by the wayside). Two pieces, 'Darshana' and 'Morpheus', came from the United Isolation Ensemble project:

The live session which became the Air Strips album happened during the making of this album, and due to no such uncertainties about content and running order managed to elude procrastination and emerge quickly, thus becoming the actual third InFlotation album. No matter: it just made The Difficult Third a little more 'difficult' (hurrah). Worth the wait!
